Watkins Glen, NY – June 17, 2025 — Mid-season brings familiar faces back together as Jenson Altzman and Chad McCumbee reunite for the LP Building Solutions 120 at The Glen, part of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.
The veteran pairing, known for their chemistry on and off track, will once again share driving duties for MMR, aiming to build on a solid first half of the season.
“Watkins Glen, one of my favorite races of the year! Really excited for this one,” said Jenson Altzman. “Not only will it be great getting the chance to drive with Chad again, but he and I never really got a fair shot at this race over the last couple years. The whole team is generally pretty excited with the pace we’ve shown all year — Michelin Pilot Challenge seems to be as competitive as ever so we’re looking forward to keeping ourselves at the front of the championship fight.”
“From the owner perspective, I have been so proud of this MMR AEROSPORT program this season and I hate that we were unable to keep the Ford Junior driver pairing together for this week’s event,” said Chad McCumbee. “As a driver, I am very excited to get back in our Mustang GT4 with Jenson, as a fill-in teammate. Watkins Glen is by far one of my favorite racetracks. I had one of the biggest sports car wins of my career here a few years back, so looking forward to finding more success.”
With a proven track record of performance and consistency, Altzman and McCumbee look to close out the first half of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season strong.
The LP Building Solutions 120 at The Glen takes place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM ET at Watkins Glen International. Fans can catch the action live on IMSA.tv
