Supply, North Carolina – Monday, January 13, 2025 – McCumbee McAleer Racing (MMR) with AEROSPORT is proud to announce their continued participation in the 2025 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Grand Sport series. Returning for a third consecutive year, MMR will field the No. 13 Ford Mustang GT4, driven by Jenson Altzman and Sam Paley, and sponsored by Vervantis, a leading Global Energy Services company.
Founded in 2014 by Chad McCumbee and Stevan McAleer, MMR has established itself as a powerhouse in the motorsports world. From their dominance in the Global MX-5 Cup to their impressive debut in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge in 2023—achieving four top-10 finishes and podiums at Road America and Virginia International Raceway—MMR has continually demonstrated their dedication to excellence.
Building on their momentum, the 2024 season saw further success with a podium at Sebring and standout performances from a dynamic lineup of drivers. Jenson Altzman’s return for 2025, now paired with Sam Paley, marks a pivotal step for the team as they continue to develop their program and aim for championship contention.

Chad McCumbee, co-owner of MMR, reflected on the team’s growth:"Over the past two seasons, it’s been amazing to see our GT4 program evolve. This season, we have a pair of MMR drivers who’ve grown through our internal development ladder. Seeing this process come full circle is a huge milestone for us. Jenson and Sam had a strong finish at the 2024 finale, and I’m confident their success will carry forward into 2025, starting at Daytona."
Jenson Altzman, co-driver of the No. 13 Ford Mustang GT4, shared his excitement: "Thrilled to be back with the McCumbee McAleer Racing crew for another season of Michelin Pilot Challenge. Last year was a fun and rewarding experience getting to develop the new Mustang GT4 Gen 7 with Chad and the whole team. I’m also looking forward to sharing a car with Sam—this has been a dream since our early MX-5 Cup days, and it’s incredible to see it come to life. Vervantis has been an amazing partner, and I’m excited to continue my work with Ford Performance as we build on last season’s progress. I’m more than ready to get to work and focus on delivering consistent results."
Sam Paley, co-driver of the No. 13 Ford Mustang GT4, added: "I’m very excited to team up with Jenson Altzman and MMR for the 2025 season. Jenson is one of my closest friends, and we push each other to be the best versions of ourselves on and off the track. I’ve been working with the MMR crew since 2019, and the progress we’ve made is undeniable. With the team’s hard work, Ford’s support, and Jenson as my teammate, I have high expectations for this season. The goal is to be championship contenders, and I’m confident we’ll be in the mix."
